Sandbox Rebel - Scrappy Dress

Sandbox Rebel.  Play Hard. Use Soap.

Need I say more?  I LOVE their tagline (above) and while that alone was just about enough to make me fall in love with them.  The fact that they have designed such fun and fashionable threads for our wee ones  just puts them at the top of my list.  I love the Scrappy Dress, which is made from up-cycled fabric remnants from normal fashion production. read more »

I love me some Misha Lulu

Misha Lulu Jumper

This is one of those stylish vintage meets modern clothing line that just makes me wish that I had some sort of god given talent in the field of fashion.  Misha Lulu is a family owned and operated retro-modern infant and toddler fashion house.  In fact, it seems everyone is in on the game.  Grandma Chol knits the hats and Abuelita Blanquita handpaints the aprons.

You can’t go wrong with any one of the many Misha Lulu frocks.  Top it with one of the fabulous knit hats and there is no stopping your tot from turning heads.

Check out their line here and see their list of stockists here.

You say Tomato, I say LOVE TOMAT!

I had the pleasure of spending this afternoon strolling the aisles of Unique LA, an independent design show featuring local LA artists and designers.  There were so many goodies, that if it hadn’t been for the fact that sweet Lexi hit her max, I think Lew and I could have spent another 3 hours there.  That being said, I will be passing on some of our finds over the next several months!  read more »

Olive Juice Clothing for Boys, Girls & Babies

We LOVE classic clothing lines that offer serious functionality and great style. Cue Olive Juice. Honestly, most kids don’t really care what they are wearing, but we do!  Kids want clothes to be comfortable enough to wear while playing tag on the playground or sitting cross-legged in reading class.   If it has a little side pocket, like the Bartley Skirt, to hide that note just passed to in class before the teacher sees you, all the better.Olive Juice clothing line offers all that and more. read more »

A dress fit for a photo on Santa’s knee

Posted in Style {For Infants}, Style {For Toddler to Teen} on November 23rd, 2010 by LuxeMomDaniela – Be the first to comment

It’s official. The holiday season has officially (and pre-maturely!) arrived. Our local malls are decorated with Christmas trees and the San Francisco streetlights are starting to grow festive bows. The tree-lightings are scheduled and, soon enough, Santa and his elves will be setting up shop to listen to Christmas wishes and pose for photos with kiddos everywhere. And I am SO VERY EXCITED!

It will be Gioia’s first Christmas…and her first photo with Santa Claus. With all the excitement comes one big question. What will she wear for the occasion? As usual, a trip to Etsy provided a quick (and very cute) answer to this question.

I am head over heals for this custom monogrammed Christmas 2 piece A-line top and Rhumba Ruffle Pants set (that includes a monogrammed hairbow). Handmade by PetiteBellesandBeaus, this adorable ensemble has removable coordinating bows at the shoulders, features a fully-lined top, pants with a non-roll elastic waist for comfort and is available in sizes 6 months to 6 years.  You can choose from a single initial, name or monogram in your choice of thread color. Priced at $60 (not including shipping and handling) this outfit is sure to be a holiday hit.
