Chocolate mousse made healthy. I am serious. I cannot tell you how many times I have served this recipe to unsuspecting dinner guests who 1) loved it, and 2) had no idea that the eggs and cream had been substituted with a very healthy alternative.
I call this mousse “healthy” for two reasons – and these two reasons correspond to the two main ingredients: silken tofu and dark chocolate. Both good for you. Dark chocolate (in moderation, of course) is full of flavonoids, which have been linked to a lower risk of heart disease and cancer. Research also suggests that dark chocolate may lower stress.
